A celebration of classical music has begun at the Tsinandali Estate. For the eighth time, leading musicians from around the world have gathered in this magical setting to perform masterpieces of classical music. For the eighth consecutive year, Silknet is the presenting partner of one of Georgia’s major cultural events – the Tsinandali Festival. This year the Festival features 23 concerts and will run for 10 days.

George Ramishvili, Founder of the Tsinandali Festival and Silknet:

“I am delighted that the Tsinandali Festival has opened for the eighth time. As always, we are joined by Maestro Gianandrea Noseda, Lisa Batiashvili, and numerous internationally renowned stars. Throughout the festival, guests can look forward to many outstanding concerts and impressive events. This year marks the 1,700th anniversary of the declaration of Christianity as the official religion of Georgia. The entire country is celebrating this important anniversary, and we too will dedicate a special event to it. I hope our guests will enjoy every day of the festival.

I would also like to mention some important news. Last year, we announced a new project and have been working intensively on it throughout the year. It is now moving into the implementation phase. A third concert hall will be built on the festival grounds, behind the hotel.

The master plan for the development of the Tsinandali Estate is being prepared by renowned architect Yuki Ikeguchi, Vice President of Kengo Kuma & Associates, together with their long-standing partner, landscape architect Vladimir Djurovic. Construction will begin immediately after this year’s festival, and we expect the third concert hall to become part of the festival no later than 2029.”

Yerkin Tatishev, Founder of the Tsinandali Festival:

“The Tsinandali Festival is truly unique. We feel this particularly strongly because we know the history of the Tsinandali Estate and understand how unique this estate, Georgia, and Kakheti are. Here, at the Tsinandali Festival, there is a remarkable sense of unity, friendship, and love among people. I think this is something deeply Georgian – musicians, supporters, and audiences all together, as if they were part of one whole.

This year’s program brings many new elements, making it more complex, diverse, and engaging. The Pan-Caucasian Youth Orchestra has also grown more experienced, and so have we. As a result, the festival continues to improve with each new season.”

On the festival’s opening day, the stage was given to internationally acclaimed violinist Lisa Batiashvili and the Pan-Caucasian Youth Orchestra, conducted by Maestro Gianandrea Noseda. The program featured Karol Szymanowski’s Violin Concerto No. 1 and Rimsky-Korsakov’s symphonic suite Scheherazade. The Pan-Caucasian Youth Orchestra, which has become one of the defining features of the Tsinandali Festival, made its first appearance of the 2026 season to prolonged applause.

Lisa Batiashvili, Violinist:

“This year, I performed my first concert with the Pan-Caucasian Youth Orchestra and Maestro Gianandrea Noseda, who is an extraordinary conductor and teacher. The Youth Orchestra is incredibly important for our country and for the entire region. Every year, young musicians come to Tsinandali, where they learn a great deal and gain invaluable experience. I believe classical music is even more important for our society today than ever, and I am very happy that Silknet and other sponsors give us the opportunity to create such special events in Georgia.

I would like to thank them for giving us, the musicians, these magical days – and, allowing the audience to experience them together with us.”

The Pan-Caucasian Youth Orchestra was founded in 2019. Each year, young musicians from neighboring countries are selected through a competitive process. This year, the orchestra brings together talented young musicians from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Moldova, Türkiye, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan. During the 2026 season, the orchestra will perform four concerts.

From September 3 to 13, the Tsinandali Festival will offer audiences 23 exceptional daytime and evening concerts. This year’s festival is unprecedented in scale, bringing together more than 300 musicians. The number and diversity of international guests and Georgian performers taking part in the festival’s varied program are particularly impressive.
