Silk Development is the General Partner of the Tsinandali Festival, taking place from September 3–13 at the historic Tsinandali Estate.

For Silk Development, supporting the festival forms part of a broader long-term vision for Tsinandali Estate bringing together cultural heritage, contemporary architecture, and internationally significant cultural projects within one destination.

The next major phase in the development of Tsinandali Estate will include a new concert hall, hotel, and park. The master plan is being developed by the internationally acclaimed architecture studio Kengo Kuma & Associates, led by the firm’s Vice President Yuki Ikeguchi, together with renowned landscape architect Vladimir Djurovic.

Designed to accommodate an audience of 1,200, the new venue will expand Tsinandali Estate’s capacity to host larger-scale musical and cultural events. Construction is expected to begin soon.

Mamuka Shurgaia, CEO of Silk Development:

“I am very pleased that Silk Development is once again supporting the Tsinandali Festival this year. The festival has become a place where exceptional music, people, and ideas come together.

Tsinandali Estate continues to evolve, and the next Silk Development project is part of this vision a new 1,200-seat concert hall designed by Kengo Kuma & Associates, with construction set to begin soon.”

Silk Development, part of Silk Road Group, develops mixed-use, residential, hospitality, and cultural projects across Georgia. Its current portfolio includes Silk Towers in Batumi and the Sakanela project in Tbilisi.
