Silk Road Group has won the 2026 Global Banking & Markets (GBM) Award for High-Yield Bond Deal of the Year in Central and Eastern Europe, Central Asia and Türkiye.

The international recognition follows the Group’s $400 million bond issuance in October 2025. The transaction represents the largest corporate bond issuance ever undertaken by a Georgian private-sector issuer and marks a significant milestone in Georgia’s return to the international debt capital markets.

Investor orders exceeded $1.3 billion, representing approximately 3.25 times the issue size. The transaction attracted 78 investors, with the bonds priced at an annual coupon rate of 7.50%.

”We are delighted we received this award and hope to share more exciting news about Silk Road Group’s projects in the near future”, – said George Ramishvili, Founder and Chairman at Silk Road Group.

JPMorgan and UBS acted as joint lead managers and joint bookrunners, alongside joint lead managers Galt & Taggart, Oppenheimer and TBC Capital. Dentons and Baker McKenzie served as legal advisers to the transaction. The bonds are listed on the Global Exchange Market (GEM) of Euronext Dublin.

The Global Banking & Markets CEE, Central Asia & Türkiye Awards 2026 recognise outstanding transactions and financial institutions shaping the development of capital markets across the region. The awards bring together the international investment community, highlight excellence in financial markets and contribute to raising the region’s international profile and attractiveness to investors.
